Danielle, this isn't a sequel, I don't write sequels, well not yet anyway, this is the re-write. Nikki, just read this as if you know nothing and ignore the previous comment.

Hey Mike,
I see that there is a book before this that I did not read. (Please send and don't give it to Troy or he will put ir in a "SAFE PLACE")

The transition is a little weak, I kinda wasn't following.

And a few grammer things - Paragraph 4 there is a few things that dn't make sense and a few that don't flow well the main thing that doesn't sound right is well the first words that the voice speaks "You do to know what you..." and " ... hard "e" sound from crazy spinning it off...".

And I guess I would have to have read the other book to get were the magic comes in because ya lost me.

But other than me being a bitch, (you know I can't help but say what im thinkin, I come by it honestly Troy was a influence on my life) but other than the above stated you have always liked your writing.

Talk and see you soon!!

Ola.

ooooh...a sequel!

I was going to write the same thing as "Crazy" above in that you need a better transition into the flashback. Other than that, pretty good.

The only thing is the voices...I don't remember them in the first book...you gonna add them during the re-write or explain their sudden presence in teh sequel in a plausible way?

Great work!

Martin Streek was 45 (born in 64). The bio that shows him being 55 was actually Joe Strummer's... He worked at the edge for 25 yrs.

I can't remember if I ever told you that I started reading them. Not bad...I don't personally find it riviting, but it's definitely an interesting concept and I'm curious enough about where it's going to go to keep reading it.

Wow...I had no idea man, well I had some idea, but didn't realize the extent of it. I don't think we get together enough. Sorry about how rough it was and I'm glad that you got through it.

I wish you luck on figuring your shit out. It seems like that's the theme of the past year...shit, and figuring out if it can be used to fertilize something or not.

As for diaries...I've kept some on and off during my life and I too have been meaning to get back to it with no luck...been a handful of years since I've kept one for a period of a few months or more. I've reread some of mine from when I was 12 and 16/17...I can't say that it gave me all that many insights, but it can be great fodder for a story and/or a good laugh...

And who says it's wrinkly old men? I bet you it's a bunch of old, tough wrinkly broads playin' puppeteer...

Ooops...it's been a while since I checked this out; my bad. It looks a lot better now...easier to read.

Wow...and I thought I was tired and depressed. 0_o Oh wait, yes I am. But you sound so much more sophisticated and philosophical wading through your muck than I do while doing so in mine. ;)

And yes, the burn out and the idiot box are major causes of getting no writing down for years...
